So far I have been unsuccessful in searching for records or information on my Great Grand Parents, Minna and Frederick Doernenburg, raising six children, in the area of Abbotsford, Colby and Holton in years 1870 and into the 1900's. My great-grandmother was a midwife in that time period so some records or mention of her activities should exist; maybe a license. My great-grandfather had a large farm in or about Abbotsford. He devoted a portion to a truck farm, selling locally and subdividing the rest to lots becoming the center of Abbotsford back then. I would appreciate receiving any information about them and/or their family.
